Still Think Social Media Is a Passing Fad?

Think Again!

There are a lot of small businesses that refuse to hop on the Social Media train even today. Most of the time, it’s because they have been established for so many years without it. But, marketing is not what it used to be. Now that people are spending more and more time on their phones, we need to meet them where they are.

Believe it or not, 2019 research shows the average time spent on social media was 2 hours and 22 minutes a day. They also project the average adult will spend 6 years and 8 months of their life on these programs. Social media is not going anywhere; if anything, it’s only growing.

New Traditions

It’s easy to get stuck in the past, especially if you’ve been around for a while. But, if you want to make it in 2020 and beyond, you can’t just stay inside of your comfort zone. Time is moving forward, and if you want your business to move with it, you have to accept that social media marketing is crucial to your strategy.

Instead of longing for the good ol’ days, try branching out into unfamiliar territories. Marketing is about taking risks to find out what your audience’s wants and needs are so you can satisfy that. As of February 7, 2019, 72% of Americans are on at least one form of social media. That’s 236,304,000 potential customers (and just in the US)!

While this all seems unfamiliar and overwhelming, we highly suggest you take some of the pressures of managing all of this change off of your shoulders. Companies like ours are here to listen to businesses that are struggling to get on this social media train. We want to help, educate, and inspire everyone to use the tools that work!
